Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine head cover which is configured to avoid a possibility of moisture freezing in a blow-by gas path as much as possible even under a low-temperature condition such as an extremely cold region and is improved to eliminate previously-described various disadvantages.SOLUTION: An engine head cover is configured to introduce blow-by gas into an intake path k through a blow-by gas path W formed in a head cover 3. A filter 13 for capturing oil in the blow-by gas, a breather valve 14 arranged near a gas outlet 18 of the blow-by gas path W, and a relief valve 15 arranged at a starting end of the blow-by gas path W are provided in the head cover 3. The breather valve 14 is configured to open when a pressure in the blow-by gas path W exceeds a predetermined first pressure P1, and the relief valve 15 is configured to open when the pressure in the blow-by gas path W exceeds a predetermined second pressure P2 which is larger than the predetermined first pressure P1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
