Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent particularly rolling out of traveling stability of a magnetic levitation vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: A vehicle body 2 in which passengers ride and an outer tank 1 containing a magnet for levitating, traveling and guiding a vehicle are mounted on a truck 3 through an extensible and retractable support link 6. A distance between the tank 1 and a ground coil is altered by extending or retracting the link 6 as required. Accordingly, the magnet is actively approached to or separated from the coil thereby to vary an electromagnetic force, thereby controlling its attitude.
