Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil supply mechanism for an engine which can promote the temperature rising of oil.SOLUTION: An oil supply mechanism for an engine includes a lower case 130 for returning oil which is pressure-fed from an oil pump and lubricates a crank journal of a crankshaft to an oil pan, and a lower side heat insulation layer 163 which is formed in the lower case 130. The lower case 130 includes an oil receiver 130c for receiving the oil which lubricates the crank journal, and the lower side heat insulation layer 163 includes a receiver side heat insulation layer 163a which is formed on a surface of the oil receiver 130c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
