PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both prevention of an instantaneous drop of a battery voltage and securing of start responsiveness when an engine restart request intervenes during a release shift of an electric parking brake.SOLUTION: An engine restart control device for an electric parking brake mounted vehicle includes: an electric parking brake 7 for actuating a parking brake by an electric motor 6; and an engine controller 20 for performing idle stop control and engine restart control. In this engine restart control device for an electric parking brake mounted vehicle, a battery 9 which is used as a shared power supply used by the electric motor 6, a starter motor 2 and electrical components 14 is mounted on a vehicle. The engine controller 20, during idle stop, when an engine restart requests intervenes during a release shift of the electric parking brake 7, prohibits engine restart when it is in a first section C from release start to the middle of the release, and allows engine restart when it is in a second section D from the middle of the release to the end of the release.
