Abstract:
To provide an engine start control device and an engine start control method capable of starting an engine without deteriorating vibration.
This device controls the start of the engine 11 supported by an engine mount resisting cranking torque during cranking, and is provided with a pre-initial explosion roll angle estimation means (step S3) estimating a roll angle immediately before initial explosion around a crankshaft to a stop the state of the engine by cranking the engine, and an initial explosion torque adjusting means (step S9) adjusting the magnitude of initial explosion torque based on the roll angle immediately before initial explosion.
