Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine 1 mounted with a reforming cylinder 15 which is a fuel reforming device capable of supplying an appropriate amount of an additive agent for enhancing reforming reaction.SOLUTION: An engine 1 comprises an output cylinder 2 and a reforming cylinder 15 and allows fuel supplied to the reforming cylinder 15 to be reformed. The reforming cylinder 15 has: a fuel injection device 20 which is connected to an intake pipe 11 through which external air is supplied and an EGR pipe 31 through which exhaust from the output cylinder 2 is supplied and supplies fuel to a mixture of the external air and the exhaust to be supplied to the reforming cylinder 15; and an additive agent injection device 24 which supplies water as an additive agent to the reforming cylinder 15 in accordance with amounts of the fuel and the mixture of the external air and the exhaust supplied thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
