Abstract:
To provide an engine capable of suppressing the agglutination of a valve stem into a valve guide, and to provide the valve guide, and a manufacturing method for the valve guide.SOLUTION: An in-guide recessed part 3b includes an in-tip recessed portion 6b provided in a tip 6 of a valve guide 3 nearer a tip end 6c of the valve guide 3 than an in-tip guide face 6a. The in-tip recessed portion 6b has a tip opening 6d on the side of a port 1, opened to the port 1. The port 1 includes an in-port recessed part 1c where an in-port face 1b is recessed toward a port side opening 4b of a guide insertion hole 4. The tip end 6c of the valve guide 3 and the tip opening 6d of the in-tip recessed portion 6b face the inside of the in-port recessed part 1c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
