Abstract:
To suppress complication of a structure.SOLUTION: An engine includes a cylinder, a piston housed in the cylinder, a combustion chamber facing the piston, a sliding portion (large diameter portion 114a) stroking integrally with the piston, a hydraulic surface facing the opposite side of the combustion chamber, of the sliding portion, a hydraulic chamber 154a facing the hydraulic surface, a hydraulic pump 172 connected to the hydraulic chamber 154a, and an auxiliary hydraulic chamber 158b communicated to the hydraulic chamber 154a and changing a volume according to a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic chamber 154a. The complication of a structure can be suppressed in a comparison with a case when a hydraulic chamber 154a for a compression ratio variable mechanism V and a hydraulic chamber 154a for a compression pressure suppression mechanism P are independently disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
