Abstract:
To provide an engine that can contribute to miniaturization of a sound absorption member in absorbing operation sound emitted from an auxiliary machine.SOLUTION: An engine includes: an auxiliary machine 33 connected to an engine body 13; a plate-like sound absorption member 36 disposed while being at least partially opposed to the auxiliary machine 33; a boss 38 formed at an outside surface of the auxiliary machine 33 and forming a flat surface 37 for receiving the sound absorption member 36; and a fastener 39 for fastening the sound absorption member 36 to the boss 38.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
