Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively easily obtain a high reduction ratio which exceeds 100: 1 by a planetary gear device having a simple structure which can be manufactured at a comparatively low cost, and to improve transmission efficiency by setting the number of all stages of a gear at two stages.SOLUTION: A planetary gear device (G) has first and second planetary gear mechanisms which share a carrier (H). Each of the planetary gear mechanisms is constituted of sun gears (S1, S2) and planetary gears (P1, P2), or inner gears (I1, I2) and the planetary gears (P1, P2). The planetary gears are composed of outer-gear shaped flat gears, gears of the first planetary gear mechanism are module pitch gears, and gears of the second planetary gear mechanism are diametral pitch gears. In order to satisfy a coaxial condition, the gears which constitute at least either of the first and second planetary gear mechanisms are profile-shifted gears.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
