Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically remove a solidified film of molten metal stuck on the inner face of a ladle by inclining a main body, ladle and turning over the ladle after molten metal in ladle is poured in a die with inclining a main body of an inclining type casting machine and injecting high pressure air through an air tube in a ladle. SOLUTION: A main body 10 is turned by 90 deg. in a first direction around a rotating shaft 12, molten metal in a ladle 50 is poured in a cavity 22 of dies 16, 18. The ladle 50 is turned by 180 deg. in a second direction opposite to the first direction around the shaft 42 with a rotating actuator 44 through a chain 48. Successively, the main body 10 is turned by 90 deg. around the rotating shaft 12. As a result, the ladle 50 is turned over. High pressure air is injected through an air tube arranged to the ladle 50. An aluminum film formed on the inner face of the ladle 50 is removed. The face in contact with molten metal in the ladle 50 is preferably made of a ceramic insulation layer. Thus, inclining type gravity casting process is automated.
