Abstract:
Oxygen enrichment plant has high-pressure source to provide air, water separator, two molecular filter beds. The plant has measuring apparatus to analyze flow of gas and a switching unit. In a first switching position a flow link is created with an outlet channel and it connects with a user duct. The plant produces a signal for switching from one position to the other when the gas passes a threshold value for oxygen concentration. The plant, having a high-pressure source (110) to provide air, a water separator (150), two molecular filter beds (200) for alternating nitrogen adsorption and desorption and equipped with a flow transfer system for a rinsing gas, has a measuring apparatus (260) to analyze the flow of oxygen-rich gas and a switching unit (270) for the gas flow from the filter beds. In a first switching position a flow link is created with an outlet channel (320), and in a second it connects with a user duct. The plant also produces a signal for switching from one position to the other when the gas passes a pre-set threshold value for oxygen concentration. The outlet channel incorporates a throttle (280) and acts as a common flow channel for the main gas and rinsing gas, as well as receiving condensation, which is removed by the separator.
