Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator drive unit in which a shaft for a ratchet pole to which a ratchet pole and a shoe lever are both fixed is smoothly rotated.SOLUTION: An escalator drive unit with an oil supply part for a ratchet pole shaft comprises: a shaft 50 for a ratchet pole which is rotatably supported by support parts 54, 56 installed on a ceiling part of a truss 22; a shoe lever 60 in which its root part is fixed to one end of the shaft 50 for the ratchet pole and a shoe 62 laid on an outer peripheral surface of a drive chain 36 is given at the tip part; a structure that a claw part 49 of a ratchet pole 48 is engaged with a tooth part 46 of a ratchet wheel 44 to prohibit rotation of a drive spindle 38 when the shaft 50 for the ratchet pole is rotated equal to or larger than a prescribed angle; and an oil supply part 70 which is arranged against at least one of a plurality of support parts rotatably supporting the shaft 50 for the ratchet pole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
