Abstract:
It is provided a portable terminal comprising a flexible display unit (100) disposed on a front surface of the portable terminal and extending to at least one side surface of the portable terminal, wherein at least one end of the flexible display unit (100) is bent. The the flexible display unit (100) comprising a main display area (110) and an auxiliary display area (120), wherein the auxiliary display area including the first end and the second end of the flexible display unit (100). The portable terminal comprises a controller (390) adapted to operate in a mode which the portable terminal is adapted to output information related to an alarm event on only the auxiliary display area (120) and to determine whether to output information related to the alarm event on only the auxiliary display area (120) or not when detecting occurrence of the alarm event.
