Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the pressure of compressed air supplied from an exhaust turbine supercharger to a diesel engine from exceeding predetermined pressure when power demand is reduced.SOLUTION: When an engine body 2 is operated at a high load, an exhaust gas amount flowing into a power turbine 4 and an exhaust gas amount bypassing the power turbine 4 are controlled so that the pressure of outside air supplied from a compressor unit 3b to the engine body 2 is increased as much as possible within allowable pressure, and the exhaust amount flowing into the power turbine 4 is reduced as much as possible according to a power demand.
