Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas catalyst device for a miniature internal combustion engine capable of achieving miniaturization and cost reduction while securing its durability, and an exhaust apparatus for a vehicle.SOLUTION: In a catalyst device 86 where a metal foil-shaped flat sheet 101 and a corrugated sheet 102 are overlappingly wound, and a catalyst is carried therein to form a honeycomb core 91 made of a plurality of layers, and the honeycomb core 91 is supported by a metallic outer tube 92, both the joining position between the flat sheet 101 and the corrugated sheet 102 in the honeycomb core 91 and the joining position between the honeycomb core 91 and the outer tube 92 are provided toward the upstream side of the flow of an exhaust gas.
