PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire a chemical heat storage system capable of simultaneously utilizing cold heat and hot heat.SOLUTION: A chemical heat storage system includes: a reaction tank comprising by including a heat storage medium 54 which radiates heat by adsorption reaction and which stores heat by dehydration reaction by heating, a heating medium pipe 45' which heats the heat storage medium, and also, which receives heat generation from the heat storage medium and discharges it to the outside of the reaction tank 40, and a heat exchanger including a steam pipe 57 which imparts steam to the heat storage medium and also, which receives the steam generated from the heat storage medium; and an evaporation/condensation pipe 11 for heating water stored inside. It is configured by: an evaporation condensation tank 10 which supplies steam necessary for adsorption reaction of the heat storage medium of the heat exchanger and which condenses the steam dehydrated by the heating of the heat storage medium and stores it; a vacuum pump 20 for removing air inside the reaction tank and the evaporation condensation tank and for acting under a vacuum environment; piping which connects the reaction tank, the evaporation condensation tank and the vacuum pump; a vacuum valve and vacuum blowers 31, 32 provided at the piping; and a control unit 2 which controls the evaporation condensation tank, the vacuum pump, the vacuum valve, the vacuum blowers and the reaction tank.
