Abstract:
To make sure that an expanding operation of an expandable drilling blade is performed during reverse rotation in response to various types of soil.SOLUTION: An expandable head for a drilling machine comprises: a drilling rod 20 having a rotation axis C in a drilling direction and capable of rotating forward and reverse around the rotation axis C; a spiral blade 30A provided on the drilling rod 20; an expandable drilling blade 60 capable of expanding the blade during reverse rotation with respect to the spiral blade 30A; a guide portion 35 formed on an upper side of the expandable drilling blade 60 in the spiral blade 30A and facing the expandable drilling blade 60, and formed by notching an outer peripheral side of the spiral blade 30A toward the rotation axis C; and a pair of steel square members 65 formed on both sides in a direction along the rotation axis C of the expandable drilling blade 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
