Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize exposure for a whole scene in a photographic mode in which a plurality of images to be watched as one scene are consecutively acquired.SOLUTION: An exposure calculation unit includes: a photometric section for obtaining a first photometric value by performing photometry of luminous flux from a subject, and also obtaining a second photometric value related to a part of the subject; a target setting section for setting a prescribed luminance value range based on the second photometric value as a target range of the first photometric value; a correction section for obtaining a third photometric value by correcting the first photometric value on the basis of the target range; and a calculation section for obtaining an exposure amount for the luminous flux from the subject on the basis of the third photometric value obtained by the correction section. The calculation section obtains the exposure amount on the basis of the first photometric value, in a first photographic mode in which a plurality of images to be watched as one scene are consecutively acquired, and obtains the exposure amount on the basis of the third photometric value, in a second photographic mode different from the first photographic mode.
