Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the influence of exposure caused by the erroneous detection and fluctuation of face detection, and to suppress the influence of exposure when an object passes.SOLUTION: A face detection circuit 116 is configured to detect at least one face area in an image to obtain a detection result. A camera microcomputer 101 is configured to, when at least one face area is detected, select one of the detection results on the basis of a predetermined selection condition to obtain a selected detection result, and to determine whether or not exposure control is performed by using the selected detection result. The camera microcomputer is configured to, when determining that the exposure control is not performed by using the selected detection result, determine whether or not the selected detection result has been changed in a predetermined period, and to, when determining that the selected detection result has not been changed, obtain the latest detection result as the selected detection result, and to, when determining that the selected detection result has been changed, not change the selected detection result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
