Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for extracting and separating platinum, capable of extracting platinum from a solution containing a plurality of kinds of metals with high efficiency.SOLUTION: The method for extracting and separating platinum comprises a step of bringing a cyclic phenol sulfide derivative represented by general formula (1) into contact with a solution containing a plurality of kinds of metals. (In the formula, Rand Rare each independently a C1-C5 hydrocarbon group; Ris a hydrogen atom or a C1-C5 hydrocarbon group; and Z is a sulfide group, a sulfinyl group, or a sulfonyl group.)
