Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system comprising both a function for directly imaging an applicant and a function for adopting a photographic image that the applicant desires.SOLUTION: A face image capturing system 20 for certification card creation comprises a direct imaging section 12 which directly images an applicant, an application slot 11 through which an application 1 with a face image is thrown in, an application imaging section 13 which captures a face image 2 of the application 1 with the face image thrown into the application slot 11, a detection sensor 14 which detects the application 1 with the face image thrown into the application slot 11, and an input signal switching section 17 connected to the direct imaging section 12, the application imaging section 13 and the detection sensor 14. In the case where the application 1 with the face image is detected on the basis of a signal from the detection sensor 14, the input signal switching section 17 sends information from the application imaging section 13 to an image capturing section 22 of a control section 21. In the case where the application 1 with the face image is not detected, the input signal switching section 17 sends information from the direct imaging section 12 to the image capturing section 22.
