Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fall-down shock absorbing device for a wheelchair without expanding an air bag when a user gets out of the wheelchair by using a switch capable of automatically turning on and off when a predetermined device or the like moves away from an arbitrary article. SOLUTION: The switch 60 detachably jointed to the frame 1a of the wheelchair 1 is connected to a sensor unit 41 of a human body mounting means 10 through a lead wire 63. When the user A gets away from the wheelchair 1 with the wearing mounting means 10 on, the lead wire 63 is pulled and detach the switch 60 from the frame 1a of the wheelchair 1 and a main power source of the sensor unit 41 is turned off, so that the air bag 20 is never expanded when the user A gets out of the wheelchair 1, and unnecessary expansion of the air bag 20 can surely be prevented.
