Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferroelectric capacitor capable of storing the charges generated from natural energy, and an electronic device using the same.SOLUTION: A ferroelectric capacitor 100 comprises: a ferroelectric single crystal 120 which includes a charge storage region 110 and in which a polarization direction is controlled, the charge storage region 110 being at least a partial region of the surface of the ferroelectric single crystal 120; a metal layer 130 located around the charge storage region 110; and a dielectric layer 160 located at least between the ferroelectric single crystal 120 and the metal layer 130. The band gap of the dielectric layer 160 is larger than the band gap of the ferroelectric single crystal 120. The charges based on the ferroelectric single crystal 120 are confined and stored on the charge storage region 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
