Abstract:
This field magneton (20), which constitutes a rotating electric machine (10) including an armature (50) having an armature winding (51) and is disposed radially outward of the armature, comprises magnets (31, 31a to 31d, 70a to 70e) forming a plurality of magnetic poles having alternating polarities in the circumferential direction. The magnets are oriented such that the orientation of the easy axis of magnetization on the side of a d-axis, which is the magnetic pole center, is brought closer to the orientation of the d-axis than the orientation of the easy axis of magnetization on the side of a q-axis, which is the magnetic pole boundary. In the magnets, the orientations (φr, φra, φrb) of the easy axes of magnetization on respective radial axes (Lθ, Lθa, Lθb) extending in the radial direction from a center position (O) in the radial direction are the same orientations from the inner circumferential surface of the magnets to the outer circumferential surface.
