Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filling method of a water-absorption expansive clay material that allows the water-absorption expansive clay material to be filled to a filling density small in variation.SOLUTION: A filling method of a water-absorption expansive clay material fills clearances or partitioned spaces with pellets each in which a material whose main component is clay having water absorption expansibility is formed in a substantially spherical shape. Large-diameter pellets are sprayed ahead in a layer shape, then small-diameter pellets are dropped and sprayed. Thus, the clearances between the large-diameter pellets are filled with the dropped small-diameter pellets. The small-diameter pellets are sprayed after the large-diameter pellets are sprayed. After that, the small-diameter pellets are blown by injection of high-pressure compressed air to be leveled, and the small-diameter pellets are dropped in the clearances between the large-diameter pellets.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
