To provide a washing method for reducing an amount of foreign matter remaining in a metal fiber filter after washing, and to provide a metal fiber filter that is washed by the washing method and a method for depositing a film using the metal fiber filter.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic cleaning of a metal fiber filter includes: operations of steam heating of a metal fiber filter; acid and alkali immersion of the metal fiber filter; and filling cleaning fluid into the metal fiber filter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
