Abstract:
A device is provided to detect clogging of a filter (6) provided onto a construction machinery. This device can maintain a high detection accuracy under normal temperatures while ensuring the required frequency of detection even when cold. This device comprises a temperature detector (10) that detects the temperature of hydraulic fluid flowing through the filter (6), a pressure detector (11) that detects the pressure acting on the filter (6), and a controller (9) that detects clogging based on the detected pressure. The controller (9) detects clogging by determining whether or not the filter (6) is in a clogged state based on the pressure detected by the pressure detector (11) only when the hydraulic fluid temperature is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature that is set as the minimum temperature to allow detection of filter clogging, and changes the predetermined temperature towards low direction as the initial oil temperature is lower based on the initial oil temperature which is the hydraulic fluid temperature before the engine starts.
