Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cloth breakage detector in a filter press which is capable of detecting the filter cloth breakage with high accuracy during the operation of the filter press.SOLUTION: The filter cloth breakage detector in the filter press can conduct the accurate detection with visual observation by utilizing the wear by a suspended substance in the filtrate without necessitating a control instrument and another power source. Because the detector 1 is composed by arranging the detector 1 to the outside end of each filter plate 9, having a diaphragm 3 at the end surface in contact with the filtrate, a piston 7 and a detection bar 6 are inserted into the inside so that those can be transferred, and the transfer of the detection bar 6 can be visually observed.
