To provide a filter capable of preventing deformation of an end plate even if pressure difference between a flow in side and a flow out side is generated.
A filter element 10 consists of a cylindrical filter 11, an inner tube 20 composed of an outer cylinder part 21 and an inner cylinder part 26 and having the filter 11 provided therein, and an upper and a lower end plate 12, 13 attached to an upper and a lower end part of the filter 11 and having opening parts 12b, 13b communicating to an inner space 20b of the inner cylinder part 26 formed on at least one of those. The filter element 10 includes an oil path forming member 5 provided with penetrating through the opening parts 12b, 13b from the inner space 20b of the inner cylinder part 26 and having one end opening of the oil path 5A arranged in an inner space of the inner cylinder part 26. A flow in hole 2a communicates to an outer space of the filter 11 in the inner space 2C of a casing 2, a flow out hole 2b communicates to another end opening of the oil path 5A, and the upper and the lower end plate 12, 13 are supported by an upper and a lower end part of the outer cylinder part 21 and the inner cylinder part 26.
