Abstract:
To provide a fire extinguisher that has both advantages of pressure accumulation type and compression type fire extinguishers, resolve disadvantages of both of them and can exert performance and functions of nitrogen fine atomization fire extinction by utilizing features of both of them more than before.SOLUTION: A fire extinguisher 10 includes: a body container 12 storing a small amount of water 20 and filled with a low-pressure nitrogen gas 18; a gas container 16 encapsulated with a high-pressure nitrogen gas. Operating an upper lever 38 installed in the body container 12 opens the gas container 16 and discharges the high-pressure nitrogen gas to the outside from a first discharge hole 66 and action of the high-pressure nitrogen gas opens the body container. When a gas pressure of the high-pressure nitrogen gas is reduced by fluid pressure of the water 20 compressed by the low-pressure nitrogen gas, an action of the fluid pressure of the water 20 opens a discharge route of the water 20 and pressure of the low-pressure nitrogen gas discharges fine atomization of the water 20 to the outside from a second discharge hole 68 to extinguish a fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
