Abstract:
A fixing board (1) for an attraction-fastening type freight carrying device to be mounted on the roof of a motor vehicle. The fixing board (1) is composed of a magnetic attraction force contact plate (10), a film-like suction-cup (20), and a releasing handle (30). The magnetic attraction force contact plate (10) has a three-layer structure comprising a soft magnet plate (11), an iron plate (12) and smooth thin-film sheet (13) coated on the iron plate. The iron plate (12) has a plurality of grooves (14) radially extending, which are elongated dead-end grooves. Further, the magnetic attraction force contact plate (10) has a through-hole (15) into which a substantially cylindrical extending from the suction film (20) is inserted so as to make an air hole. This air hole takes the closed state when the freight carrying device is installed on the vehicle roof, and takes the open state when being removed therefrom. The film-like suction-cup (20) is formed throughout the circumference of the magnetic attraction force contact plate (10).
