Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary blade of an auger type ice maker, capable of being attached into an ice-making cylinder, and capable of making ice pieces whose cross sectional shape does not depend on a shape of an inner wall of the ice-making cylinder, without generating ice jamming or load to an ice-making mechanism part.SOLUTION: A stationary blade 8 of an auger type ice maker 1 is attached into an ice-making cylinder 2, and inside the cylinder, a plurality of ice passage routes 7 is formed, whose cross sectional shape is circular. At a lower end of the stationary blade 8, a guide part 10 is formed, which expands in a tapered manner from the inside of the ice passage route 7 toward the outside. Also, the ice passage route 7 of the stationary blade 8 comprises a lower part ice passage route 7a and an upper part ice passage route 7b, a cross sectional area of the lower part 7a is larger than a cross sectional area of the upper part 7b, and between the lower part 7a and the upper part 7b, a transition part 7c is formed, whose cross sectional area gradually decreases from the lower part 7a toward the upper part 7b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
