Abstract:
Sensor mounting system has a sensor carrier slat (8) screwed into a threaded sleeve (16), and a seal ring, where the sleeve and the slat are formed as a single unit. Position of a sensor head is adjusted by rotation of the slat against the sleeve, which receives the forces or the torque arising during the adjustment. The sleeve is positioned at a reference position in a recess of a wall of a housing and is locked in the wall by a fixation unit. The seal ring is between the sleeve and a funnel shaped stopping surface of the recess and in a notch of the sleeve. The notch receives only a portion of a contact surface of the threaded sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a method for fixation of a sensor mounting system at a housing wall.
