Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of and damage to the ends of a fixing belt due to a deviation movement of the fixing belt.SOLUTION: Regulating members 220 are a member for regulating a deviation movement of a fixing belt in the longitudinal direction of a heating roller, and are rotatably provided respectively at both ends of the heating roller. The regulating member 220 includes a regulating member body 222 and a flange part 224. The flange part 224 is provided on the inner surface side with a plane part 224a and a step part 224b connected to the plane part 224a via a step. The plane part 224a is brought into contact with a side end face of the fixing belt to regulate the deviation movement of the fixing belt. The step part 224b separates the side end face of the fixing belt from the regulating member 220 to reduce a load of the fixing belt on the regulating member 220.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
