Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device and image formation device capable of detecting a current flowing through a heater by preventing saturation using one general-purpose current transformer.SOLUTION: A fixation device 6 includes: a plurality of halogen lamp heaters 63 and 64 for heating a fixation member; a current transformer for collectively detecting current values flowing through the plurality of halogen lamp heaters; current changing means for changing the direction of the current of at least one of the plurality of halogen lamp heaters out of the plurality of halogen lamp heaters which flows through the current transformer; and a control unit 7 for controlling the current changing means to light the other halogen lamp heater in a state in which one halogen lamp heater, which is at least one of the plurality of halogen lamp heaters, is lit in the manner that the direction of the current of the one halogen lamp heater is reversed to that of the other halogen lamp heater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
