Title:
FLYING BODY HAVING WHEEL FOR INCREASING FRICTION FORCE WITH CONTACT SURFACE AND CAPABLE OF TRAVELING ON LAND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016120809
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the conventional flying body, namely, the inability to stably travel on a ceiling or a wall due to the influence of wind when the flying body having a wheel with a protection function fitted to a flying body main body and traveling with a propulsion part inclined in an advancing direction is used for inspecting a deteriorated tunnel, bridge, ceiling or wall outdoors.SOLUTION: A flying body 1 is characterized in that a friction force between a wheel 10 and a surface is increased by increasing a contact area between a wheel 10 and the surface on which the wheel travels and increasing the pressing force of the wheel 10 to the surface. A resin member 12 or 14 having bubbles is provided in the outer periphery of the wheel 10 to increase the contact area between the wheel and the surface. In addition, a magnet 18 is provided between the outer periphery of the wheel 10 and the resin member 12 or 14. Further, the wheels 10 are rotatably provided at both ends of an axle 20 via elastic members 22. The wheel 10 is opened into a truncated chevron shape or the like by the elastic member 22 to be pressed to the surface of a wall 50 or the like, and can travel on the surface in an inclined manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
