Abstract:
To detect local float from a conveyance path of a print conveyed in a state of surface contact with the conveyance path.SOLUTION: An inspection device 12 is a float detector of a print P for detecting local float from an outer peripheral surface 11a of the print P conveyed in a state of surface contact with the outer peripheral surface 11a of an inspection shell 11. The inspection device 12 includes an inspection image acquisition unit 25 for shooting the print P conveyed in a state of surface contact with the outer peripheral surface 11a to acquire the inspection image. The inspection device 12 includes a difference image generator 28 for generating a difference image composed of difference between a luminance value in the inspection image and the luminance value in a reference image for each pixel. The inspection device 12 includes a gradient acquisition unit 30 for acquiring gradient of the luminance value on a specific line L of the difference image and a float detector 33 for detecting local float of the print P from the outer peripheral surface 11a based on the gradient of the luminance value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
