PURPOSE: To provide a controller to satisfactorily restrain an influence exerting on the tension and looper angles by a disturbance entered into a control system in a controller of a tension between stands of a continuous rolling mill and the looper angle.
CONSTITUTION: This equipment consists of a device to adjust the speed of a looper motor so as to increase and decrease the looper angle following increase and decrease of detected values of the tension, a device to adjust the speed of a mill motor so as to increase and decrease the tension following increase and decrease of detected values of the looper angle, a device to adjust the motor speed so that the mutual influence between the adjustment of the looper motor speed and the adjustment of the mill motor speed are restrained and a device to adjust both motor speeds at the same time correspondingly to both the tension and the looper angle and in this way, the tension between the stands of the continuous rolling mill and the looper angle are restrained. The degree of freedom of parameter adjustment is high because of the restraint of the influence of disturbance.
