Abstract:
To provide a fluid filter enabling the filter element thereof to be easily replaced.SOLUTION: A fluid filter comprises: a filter head having an inflow port and an outflow port of fluid; a filter case 20 which is formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape having an interior space with an opening at the top end and can be attached to and detached from the filter head by coupling the top end to the filter head; and a hollow cylindrical filter element 30 which is housed in a freely attachable/detachable manner within the interior space of the filter case 20, and through which fluid is passed for being filtered, the fluid filter further comprises an engagement protrusion 333 which engages and holds the filter element 30 in the filter case 20 in an engageable and removable manner while the filter element 30 is housed in the interior space of the filter case 20. The fluid filter is configured in such a way that the filter case 20 is attached to the filter head while the filter element 30 is housed in the filter case 20 and is held by the engagement protrusion 333.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
