Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow modifier that gives excellent flow characteristics even in an inorganic particle slurry, in which polyvalent metal ions exist, and maintains the flow characteristics.SOLUTION: The flow modifier comprises a copolymer (A) containing an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid (a1), an ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid salt (a2) and an alkoxy polyoxyalkylene glycol ethylenic unsaturated carboxylic acid ester (a3) as essential constituent monomers in which the content of the unit (a1) is 9.9-79.9 mol%, the content of the unit (a2) is 0.1-40 mol% and the content of the unit (a3) is 20-90 mol% based on the molar numbers of the unit (a1), the unit (a2) and the unit (a3).
