Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a focal plane shutter that suppresses changes in exposure accuracy of shutters due to changes in shooting pose, and enables reduction in impacts upon shooting.SOLUTION: A focal plane shutter comprises: a stepping motor; a cam member having a cam groove 15a; a base plate having an aperture 1a; a plurality of rotatably supported blade arms 2 and 3; and blades 4, 5 and 6 movable to a state opening the aperture 1a and state closing the aperture 1a. In the cam groove 15a of the cam member 15, formed are: a first blank travelling drive area 15g where the blades 4, 5 and 6 maintain the open state; and an exposure drive area 15h where the blades 4, 5 and 6 move from the open state to the closed state formed, and when the cam member 15 is present in the exposure drive area 15h, the cam member is configured to be shaped so that moment of gravity to be received by the blades 4, 5 and 6 imparting to the cam member 15, and moment of gravity to be received by the blade arms 2 and 3 imparting to the cam member 15 are made almost equal in a magnitude, and made opposite in a direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
