Abstract:
To provide a compact folding chair which is simply structured and which is small in a width direction dimension of front and rear legs.SOLUTION: A folding chair 10 includes: a pair of front legs 12; a pair of rear legs 14 rotatably journaled for the front legs 12; and a seat part 16 which is rotatable for the front legs 12 and the rear legs 14 between a horizontal state and a flipped-up state. Then, with the rear legs 14 arranged in an inner side from the front legs 12, the seat part 16 is rotatably journaled on spindle legs by one of the front legs 12 and the rear legs 14 as the spindle legs. Further, a position in which the rear legs 14 are journaled for the front legs 12 is set forward from the position where the seat part 16 is journaled for the spindle legs. Also, the spindle provided in the spindle legs possesses an extension part which is extended outward from the rear legs 14, and caused to support the front legs 12 when the folding chair 10 is opened by the extension part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
