Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot brake switch of which a water resistance is increased in order to suppress short circuit between a pair of connection terminals, and a brake operation detection device.SOLUTION: A foot brake switch comprises a pair of connection terminals 15 which are projected from an upper end part 17A of a switch body part 12 and enable connection of an external terminal. The upper end part 17A of the switch body part 12, from which the pair of connection terminals 15 are projected, is provided with a rise part 30 having an inclined outer surface 30A which is so gradually inclined as to be positioned on a base end side of the connection terminal 15 as approaching an outer side of the upper end part 17A. In a brake operation detection device, the foot brake switch is located in such a manner that the pair of connection terminals 15 are projected above, and the inclined outer surface 30A is so gradually inclined as to be positioned below as approaching an outer side of the upper end part 17A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
