Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a foreign matter on a passenger conveyor deck board capable of detecting the foreign matter on the passenger conveyor deck board.SOLUTION: A device for detecting a foreign matter is applied to a passenger conveyor including a moving handrail for circularly moving between entrances and a deck board arranged along the moving handrail at an outer deck side of the moving handrail. The device includes a photo-electronic sensor disposed on the deck board between the moving handrail and the deck board and for detecting the foreign matter on the deck board.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
