Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal system of a V-rib belt of an internal combustion engine which has favorable maintenance performance, and can suppress the occurrence of a malfunction of the V-rib belt caused by foreign matters by removing the foreign matters from a rib groove of the V-rib belt, and the internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A foreign matter removal system 20 of a V-rib belt of an internal combustion engine removes foreign matters of a rib groove 12 of a V-rib belt 10 which is used in the internal combustion engine 1, and comprises a gas injection part 30 for injecting a gas to the rib groove 12 of the V-rib belt 10. According to the foreign matter removal system 20, since the foreign matters of the rib groove 12 of the V-rib belt 10 can be removed by the gas which is injected from the gas injection part 30, the system thereby possesses favorable maintenance performance, and can suppress the occurrence of a malfunction of the V-rib belt 10 caused by the foreign matters by removing the foreign matters from the rib groove 12 of the V-rib belt 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
