Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forging a nickel-based alloy capable of suppressing an increase in coarseness of crystal grains even for a complicated processed shape when the nickel-based alloy is forged.SOLUTION: A method for forging a nickel-based alloy comprises: an initial heating step for heating the nickel-based alloy to an initial heating temperature which is higher than a re-crystallization starting temperature; a first forging step for performing forging to the nickel-based alloy; a cooling step for cooling the nickel-based alloy to a temperature lower than the initial heating temperature; and a second forging step for performing forging to the nickel-based alloy at higher precision level than the first forging step, where the steps are to be done in the above-mentioned order.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
