Abstract:
To provide a fork lift for efficiently conveying a to-be-conveyed object.SOLUTION: A conveyance device 20 includes: a fork 20d that places a to-be-conveyed object; a body portion 20a supporting the fork 20d so as to be lifted/lowered; a side-surface sensor 251 that is disposed on a side-surface of the body portion 20a and detects the to-be-conveyed object by emitting sensor light toward a projecting side of the fork 20d; and a control unit that controls traveling of the body portion 20a. By using the side-surface sensor 251, the control unit detects a width of the to-be-conveyed object placed on the fork 20d and controls traveling in accordance with the width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
