Abstract:
The shed mechanism (1), at a loom with a number of shafts, has a number of servo motor groups (13,14) under the heald frames (3-8) each as a cluster with their rotary axes (27-32) arranged on a circle or ellipse or other shape and offset axially against each other. Each servo motor (15-20) has a drive take-off lever (21-26), with their free ends at the center of the circle/ellipse, linked to the heald frames by connecting rods (34-39) at different angles.
