Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency control method for non-contact power supply system capable of, firstly, improving and maintaining power supply efficiency and, secondly, easily and automatically achieving it.SOLUTION: First, related data is prepared by an off-line data method. A transmission side high-frequency power supply 10 is started with a reception side switch S being off, and an open-circuit inductance Lof a transmission coil 1 and a coupling coefficient K are acquired. By applying the open-circuit inductance Land the coupling coefficient K to the related data, each gap length MG is estimated. The average gap length MG of both is then applied to the related data to acquire an optimum frequency f, the high-frequency power supply 10 is operated and power supply is started by turning the switch S on. In the on-line data method, a load resistance value r is obtained during power supply, frequency characteristics of an output current phase of the high-frequency power supply 10 are calculated, and the frequency characteristics are analyzed using the load resistance value r as a parameter to obtain an optimum frequency f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
